My name is Jamila, I am author & photographer behind this page and a pastry chef trained in France.
After working in online marketing for years I changed my career in 2014 and attended the “French Pastry Arts” Program at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Pâtisserie.
At the following working experiences I learned about the importance of mastering the basic techniques, aesthetics and logistics of modern pastry.
The objective is to share the fascination by relevant techniques and a variety of ingredients with beginners as well as advanced bakers.
The recipes are developed with the focus on featuring the main ingredients, creating a combination of different textures and a presentation with appetising elegance.
Inspirations are a result of never getting tired of travelling & tasting.
